Israeli newspaper: Egyptian military reinforcements moved into Sinai without prior notification to Israel

(BNA) Israeli newspaper -(Haaretz) - revealed that the Egyptian Army has recently mobilized military enforcements into specific parts of Sinai peninsula without prior notification to Israel in contravention of the peace treaty signed between the two countries.
The Israeli newspaper stated that these forces have been amassed in Sinai only upon understandings between Israel and Egypt. The newspaper quoted Israeli security sources as saying that there is continuous security coordination between both countries.
On the other h and, Radio Israel quoted Israeli military sources as saying that two powerful blasts were heard in the city of Elat in southern Israel last night and that the source of the blast could be "Grad" missiles launched from Sinai.
The same sources reported that Israeli soldiers combed the area in search of missile shrapnel but found nothing and that no reports were received regarding any injuries or damage.
