Mahmoud Abdel-Rahim, or “Ganash” as he’s known, signed a five-season
contract with the Premier League leaders Zamalek on Wednesday,
transferring from his Alexandrian team, Olympic, with a fee that amounts
to LE 1.5 million (roughly $250 thousand).
Several English Premier League clubs, including Arsenal and West Brom,
have reportedly stepped up their interest in signing Egyptian star Ahmed
Elmohamady next summer, but he asserts that he wishes to stay at
Stadium of Light.
