Egypt pipeline blast halts gas exports to Israel, Jordan Egypt's Natural Gas Co. (GASCO) said that an attack on a pipeline in the northern Sinai peninsula on Wednesday sent flames and a massive plume of smoke into the sky and cut off Egypt's natural gas supplies to Israel and Jordan for the second time in less than three months

The Egyptian supreme military council has denied accusations levelled at it by the Libyan National Transitional Council (NTC) and carried by several Arab media, that Egypt is allowing the Libyan leader Muammar Al Qathafi’s cousin, Ahmed Qaddaf al Dam, to sell Libyan goods and property in Egypt in order to recruit mercenaries and to buy weapons that are then sent to the east of Libya
