Egyptian Electricity and Energy Minister and temporarily Transport Minister Hassan Younis accepted resignation of Egypt's Railway Authority (ERA) Chairman Eng. Mahmoud Sami Ahmed
On Wednesday, Younis also issued a decision for Eng. Mustafa Qenawy to set as a Chairman of the Egyptian Railway Authority.

60 representatives of 19 countries from all continents participate in the
sixth annual conference of the Egyptian National Democratic Party (NDP), which begins on Friday and lasts
until Monday, November 2
Some of participated Arab countries are Palestine, Sudan, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, and Yemen.
African countries involved are Nigeria, Ghana, and Tanzania.

The Egyptian Health Ministry announced that 15 new cases of H1N1 in Egypt raising the total to 1,193.
The new cases include nine school students, three Egyptians, two
British nationals and one Italian, according to the Ministry of
Health’s official statement.

The Egyptian agricultural
quarantine authority reported that Egypt is testing a second sample from a 63,000-tonne U.S. wheat
shipment after quarantine officials found an excessive amount of seeds
per kilogram on first inspection
On Wednesday, Cairo-based trade sources said that "The shipment is expected to
be sieved for treatment after the results of the sampling come out."
