Shares of Orascom Telecom ORTE.CA plunged nearly 10 percent on Wednesday, dragging Egypt's benchmark index .CASE30 to its sharpest single-day fall in two weeks
Orascom Telecom, the sixth-worst performer on the CASE 30 index this year, shed 9.96 percent to 31.01 Egyptian pounds ($5.61).

Egyptian largest publicly traded car assembly and Retail Company Ghabbour Auto AUTO.CA posted its second highest quarterly profit on record on Wednesday, but said growth could slow as the Egyptian economy cools
Strong vehicle sales helped net profit surge 88 percent to 180 million Egyptian pounds ($32.57 million), chief executive Raouf Ghabbour said in a statement.
