Egyptian largest publicly traded car assembly and Retail Company
Ghabbour Auto AUTO.CA posted its second highest quarterly profit on
record on Wednesday, but said growth could slow as the Egyptian economy
cools
Strong vehicle sales helped net profit surge 88 percent to 180 million
Egyptian pounds ($32.57 million), chief executive Raouf Ghabbour said
in a statement.

Societe Generale Bank (NSGB), the second largest listed Egyptian bank
by market value, made a net profit of 796.8 million pounds in the first
nine months of 2008, 57.4 percent up on the same period of 2007

machine-made rugs Egypt-based Oriental Weavers made a net profit of 276.8 million Egyptian
pounds ($50.1 million) in the first nine months of the year, up 26
percent, according to a statement by the company
