Iraqi-Egyptian Committee meet in Cairo

Monday, Iraqi-Egyptian committee meetings started off at Cairo. The meetings aim at enhancing cooperation and bilateral relations thru signing many bilateral agreements and protocols.

The meetings of the Committee headed by Iraq Foreign Minister Hoshiar Zebari and his Egyptian counterpart Ahmad Abul Gheit are also attended by: Iraqi Ministers of Defense, Interior, Investment, Agriculture, Industry, Science and technology as well as the Minister of Electricity, from the Iraqi side while many Egyptians Ministers represent the other party.

On the sidelines of the committee works, Egyptian President Hossni Mubarak met with Foreign Ministers, Interior Ministers and Electricity Ministers Hoshiar Zebari, Jawad Al Bolani and Karim Wahid in the presence of their Egyptian counterparts.

They actually tackled the latest progresses on the Iraqi level and Egypt’s role in enhancing the upswing of the country especially after the last bombings in the capital which killed hundreds and left thousands wounded.
