Egypt receives second batch of A/H1N1 vaccine

Egypt received on Monday the second batch of A/H1N1 vaccine from Britain, local Nile TV reported.
About 70,000 doses of the vaccine were transported to Cairo airport from Britain through Amsterdam.

The first batch of 80,000 doses arrived here on Sunday.

Earlier, the Egyptian Health Minister Hatem el-Gabali said Egypt is to import 5.5 million doses of the A/H1N1 vaccine, which will be delivered to Egypt from this month.

On Monday, Egyptian Ministry of Health reported the sixth A/H1N1 flu death case.

Up till now, the ministry has reported more than 1,000 cases of the novel flu virus in the most populous Arab country.
