The CEO of Air Algérie, Wahid Bouabdallah said that the Egyptian authorities are taking a firm decision to prevent supporters of the national team Algerian team travelled to Egypt to watch the match on 14 November, from moving in the capital Cairo and in other Egyptian cities for reasons that remain unknown until now.
Worse than that, according to the latest information in our possession, the Algerian fans are banned from entering Egyptian territory by road. Mr. Bouabdallah said yesterday in an interview with Ennahar that Mohamed Raouraoua, president of the Algerian Football Federation, had informed him about the Egyptian authorities' decision requiring the services of Air Algeria to take all measures to ensure the transport of Supporters of the national team from Cairo airport to the stadium, then from the stadium to the airport, without allowing those fans to circulate in the streets and neighbourhoods of Cairo. The management of Air Algeria has expected 3000 supporters. "The number of fans will not be increased because if we let the Algerians go, there will be 100,000 in record time," said Mr. Bouabdallah.
