Egyptian largest listed builder Orascom
Construction Industries said on Sunday its
joint venture with Spanish Aqualia submitted the best financial bid for
a Cairo wastewater treatment projectThe value of the bid stood at $459 million, and the winning consortium would build and operate the plant for 20 years. The company said bids were still under evaluation, said Orascom Construction Industries .

Construction Industries added that the bid includes the value of engineering, procurement and construction of the plant, as well as operation and maintenance for the duration of the contract.
