The sources said that most of the Gaza crossings, controlled by Israel, were reopened Wednesday morning, after having been closed for the past couple of days.
The sources added that the Rafah crossing terminal remained closed , as Egypt , which controls the terminal, says any regular reopening of such a crossing should be coordinated beforehand on baisis of the U.S-brokered operation agreement of 2005.
Israeli defense minister, Ehud Break, ordered the closure of Gaza's crossings earlier this week, in the wake of homemade rocket fire onto nearby Israeli areas. Israel and the ruling Hamas party in Gaza agreed in June to an Egyptian-mediated ceasefire.
