"I'm the only legitimate heir to my grandfather's property," said
Edouard Empain, grandson of Belgian millionaire Baron Empain, who built
his famous orientally-themed palace in Cairo's eastern Heliopolis
district in 1911.
In a bid to claim his grandfather's property, Empain filed a lawsuit on Monday against Nasser Bank, which assumed ownership of the palace after it was nationalized in the wake of Egypt's 1952 revolution.
