Egypt's Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit

Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit reported that the signing of a Palestinian reconciliation agreement set for Oct. 25 will be postponed for "several weeks." Ahmed Aboul Gheit wouldn't name the Palestinian factions who requested the postponement.
 
The Islamist Hamas has hardened its position with the rival Fatah movement since Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas suspended a campaign to have Israeli officials prosecuted for war crimes over last winter's military offensive in Gaza.
