Hassan Qashqavi praised regional countries and particularly Egypt cooperation in IAEA General Assembly in a weekly press conference on Monday saying it resulted in approval of two statements on banning attacks on nuclear facilities and inspection on Israel nuclear weapons.

“Iran and Arab brothers realize common threats and are very cooperative in international scene; Iran pursues coordination diplomacy with Arab countries.”

Asked about Iran-India-Pakistan Peace Pipeline he explained presidents of Iran and Pakistan have discussed the issue and participation of a third party has always been a topic of discussion.

Meanwhile regarding whether Iraq must pay Iran the war indemnity for 8 years of imposed war against the country, Qashqavi stated that the issue is not ruled out but under the current situation Tehran prioritizes Iraq’s stability, security, unity and empowerment of its government.

He also denied reports on a secret meeting between officials of Iran and France on the sidelines of UN General Assembly.

He then announced Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will have a trip to Iran and the time will be declared later.

Further over the second uranium enrichment plant of Iran he said the country has made no secret or covert measure in construction of the new enrichment facility and the phrase “covert facilities” is astonishing.

“The semi-industrial enrichment plant is being constructed within the framework of Iran’s program for peaceful nuclear purposes and supplying demands of the country’s future, therefore everything is clear and transparent and nothing has been covert, secret or against the law,” Hassan Qashqavi said in his weekly press conference.

The phrase “covert facilities” is astonishing for Tehran considering its in time announcement to the IAEA because of its cooperation and interaction with the agency, he noted.

Also regarding upcoming October talks between Tehran and the five permanent members of the Security Council and Germany he stated, the dialogue will be held in Switzerland but there will be a final agreement on whether to convene in Geneva or Bern.

Meanwhile he denied the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) military drill on Sunday and Monday had anything to do with the country’s second uranium enrichment plant saying the drill was on the occasion of Iran’s Sacred Defense Week.
