One of the digital lifestyle accessories brands in the Mena region Genx announced that it has recently launched the Genx 'Musiclip GXMP3-565' MP3 Player, further expanding its premium selection of mobile music players in the region

The Genx 'Musiclip' features an integrated FM radio and comes in 8GB, 4GB and 2GB storage capacities, while its convenient clip design makes the 'Musiclip' the perfect companion to enjoy music on-the-go.

The Genx 'Musiclip GXMP3-565' plays MP3 and WMA digital music files and also features a high-contrast LCD display with seven-colour backlight. The new MP3 device also allows random or 'shuffle' music playback, while a special 'key lock' prevents keys from being accidentally pressed.

Shabu Sultan, General Manager, Memory Technology Middle East (MTC), exclusive distributor of Genx products in the Middle East, said: the Genx 'Musiclip' creates layers of satisfaction for music lovers by incorporating new features that make it even more convenient to enjoy music while on the move.
The optimised form factor of the 'Musiclip' greatly complements the player's excellent playback capability, which is in line with Genx's continuing thrust to create digital lifestyle solutions that address the evolving demand of consumers

Other key features of the Genx 'Musiclip' are USB 2.0 for high-speed file transfer, compatibility with Windows Vista, XP, 2000 and ME as well as Macintosh OS X and newer versions; 3.5mm AV output, and rechargeable battery. The 'Musiclip' comes in silver and black designs.

Established in 1999 by MTC, one of the leading IT distribution companies in the Mena region, Genx has emerged as a leader in providing innovative IT technologies to markets in North Africa, Egypt, Levant and the GCC.

The company has established management hubs in Dubai, Jeddah, Riyadh and Yemen, and distributes its products and services to large enterprises, SMEs, service providers and consumers directly through its own sales force and indirectly through a network of channel partners.

MTC has been widely successful in specialising in DRAM and flash technologies, helping the company boost its turnover by 400% in the last seven years.

MTC's Genx and Xtreme brands have emerged as the most popular product lines in the region and have contributed in consolidating the company's major share in the Mena market for memory storage devices.
