Endemic and chest diseases-specialized doctors warned the residents
of Zamalek district against going to crowded places, stressing on the
distribution of protective masks to everyone in those placesThis came right after the declaration of the ُEgyptian Health Ministry pertaining to 7 swine flu- infected American University in Cairo students. The doctors also, asked for giving the Tamiflu vaccine, as a "prevention" measure, to those who have been in direct contact with the infected cases, either American University in Cairo students or workers.
However, Dr. Ashraf Omar, Professor of digestive system, liver and endemic diseases at Qasr Al-'Ini School of Medicine said that "preventive measures must be intensified in the areas where the virus is discovered, so masks must be distributed to individuals in crowded places.
