Egyptian security official announced that Egypt's police arrested 28
sub-Saharan African migrants who were trying to slip illegally into
Israel on MondayEgypt's official added that the migrants, who included two children and five women, made a run for Egypt's border with Israel in mid-Sinai after spotting border police but stopped when they fired warning shots.
None of the migrants was injured, the official said. Police shot dead a migrant and wounded another near the border earlier this month.
