The central bank of Egypt announced that the average yield on Egyptian 28-day deposits was 11.568 percent at an auction on Wednesday
It added the central bank said it received bids for deposits worth 8.515 billion Egyptian pounds and accepted bids worth 7.74 billion pounds, at rates between 11.4 percent and 11.65 percent.

The bank also auctioned 126-day deposits with an average yield of 11.956 percent. It received bids worth 390 million pounds and accepted bids worth 290 million pounds at rates between 11.89 and 11.995 percent.
