| Mubarak hopes Nile Basin countries agreement to materialize |

Egyptian President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak received on Tuesday Tanzanian Vice President Ali Mohammed ShinEgyptian president voiced hope that the Nile Basin Countries would finalize an agreement soon. Mubarak has also tackled with his guest key issues in Africa and the agenda of the Euro-Afro summit, which kicks off next month in Portugal. Means of enhancing bilateral relations were also high on the talks. Meanwhile, Mr. Suleiman Awwad the Egyptian Presidential spokesman declared that a delegation of Egyptian businessmen would visit Tanzania to boost trade and investment ties. Tanzania will further enlist Egyptian expertise digging wells, Awwad added. The Tanzanian Vice President indicated that his country wants re-open Egypt Air office in the Tanzanian capital.
